The Cloud Leopard by Nahoko Kojima returns to Clerkenwell where is occupies a humble space in the midst of Clerkenwell.
It is in a small open space with the paper sculpture in the centre of the room stealing the attention of the visitors as it stands out for the white washed walls. Information is located on the wall beside the door and there is smaller room which connects to the main room. This small room displays a small collection of other paper artwork by Nahoko Kojima and a video clip playing on a screen explaining the process the artist took.
I came by this purely by chance as I was exploring Clerkenwell Design Week. It was a pleasant surprise as it was an amazing piece to look at and try to comprehend; but also this little exhibit allowed me to see something away from the fast-paced nature of CDW.
Though this quote is possibly over used I still quite like it. I saw it again at a jewelers studio when attending Clerkenwell Design Week.
